In this untold story of the witches of Oz, we will see Cynthia Erivo, winner of Emmy, Grammy and Tony awards, as Elphaba. Elphaba is an extraordinary woman with green skin who has not yet discovered her true power. Glinda will be played by Grammy award-winning superstar Ariana Grande, who has not yet discovered her true heart. Both characters are students at Shiz University in the fantastical Land of Oz and form a deep friendship. However, after meeting the Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads and their lives take completely different paths. Glinda desires popularity, dreams of power, while Elphaba remains true to herself and those around her. However, her attitude has unexpected consequences for her future. Their extraordinary adventures in the Land of Oz will ultimately lead them to fulfill their destinies as the Good Witch of the South and the Wicked Witch of the West.
