When Blanche (played by Virginie Efira) meets Greg (Melvil Poupaud) at a party, it seems to her that she has found the perfect man for her. The following days and the time spent together only confirm the good first impression. The heroine is charmed by the handsome man to such an extent that she is ready to change her life for him. Soon, due to Greg's professional commitments, the couple moves to Lorraine, and shortly after, their first child is born. However, the idyll is disturbed when Blanche discovers that Greg lied to her, hiding the real reasons for the move. Although she accepts her partner's apology and explanation, her doubts remain. They will intensify, especially as the man tries to control Blanche more and more.
