The film is a dark drama of the genre... in the form of a documentary. "Cannibal Holocaust" (also known as "Green Inferno") is divided into two parts: in the first, the action takes place in the Amazon jungle, where a team of soldiers (rescuers) search for a lost expedition of filmmakers, who went to make a documentary about the life of cannibals. In the second part, the action moves to New York, or more precisely to a film studio, where shocking tapes found in the jungle by the team of rescuers are watched. The tapes show the expedition of three filmmakers investigating the customs of cannibals, until they are attacked by them and eaten alive. No one returned from the expedition...
